Subject: HRSDC exempt !
  I am on a postgraduate workpermit and my employer as made me an offer to become fultime when my PR is done does this mean i have arranged employment though i dont have confirmation from HRSDC? COULD I APPLY UNDER AE and what documents do i need to support ?

Can some please help. I read the following on CIC website?

You are working in Canada on a temporary work permit and
your temporary work permit was exempted from the requirement of obtaining a labour market opinion of your job offer from HRSDC on the basis of an international agreement (e.g., NAFTA or GATS), a significant benefit to Canada (e.g., intra-company transfer) or public policy on Canada?s academic or economic competitiveness (e.g., post-graduate work);

you are currently working in that job;

the work permit was valid at the time you made your permanent resident visa application and at the time the visa, if any, is issued; and
your employer made an offer to employ you on an indeterminate basis once the permanent resident visa is issued.

Thanks,

Yeah it is arranged employment if the employer gives you in writing that he is willing to hire you permanently once you get a PR. However, the conditions stated by you should also be met.

ANYONE CAN APPLY UNDER ANY CATEGORY. Being approved is the issue and the time frame.

What country are you from?
Which province are you in?
Do you want to seek a PNP certificate?
Do you wish to remain on a WP (not after graduation WP) then apply in Canada?

You have so many options.

Is my job title needs HRSDC? (in reply to: HRSDC exempt !)
Hi Roy!
I´ve been seeking help all around me regarding my application for the confirmation number from the HRSDC. Since March 14,2009, according to my soon to be employer, he submitted an application forms to the HRSDC. Usually it takes according to them around 3-4 weeks, but until now we have not receive any news from them, can you please advice if my position will be requiring a confirmation number from the HRSDC?
My job offer would be a Research Assistant. I am coming with my working permit since I will be from another country of residence and will be settling upon the application of my PR. My employer also recommends a permanent position to me.
