Depends on your English level. Two weeks is reasonable preparation time for a person with good English.

It isn´t like you start to learn English between now and the IELTS test. Either you understand, speak, and write English, or you don´t. In my opinion, it was more important to know what the IELTS test looked like, how it was split in different sections, and what to expect during the test.

My biggest surprise was to find that all people evaluating your English skills (in Miami, at least) seemed to have a British accent rather than an American one.

If your English is good you will likely get good points without any preparation. IELTS is not a FAIL or PASS test, it is rather to assess your English language skills. After taking this test, I AM CONVINCED that most of my American-born friends would have scored considerably lower than me.

Relax, IELTS it is much simpler than you think.

Good Luck!
