Check out www.cic.gc.ca. You should go for skilled workers immigration if you have professional qualifications. See if you qualify.

The first step is self assessment test. Its free and easy.
Follow this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/assess/

Next you should fill the skilled worker class application and mail it to the office in Buffalo.

You get most of the general information if you go through the website Anonymous advised.

Other very important issues NOT to forget:

1. Get Police clearance certificates from all the countries where you lived for more than 6 months after 18 years of age.

2. Contact Indian Embassy for clearance from India or have someone in India get it for you.

3. Apply for FBI clearance. You may get finger print forms at local police stations or contact FBI for them.

4. Take IELTS asap. Canadian Immigration Office DOES NOT accept TOEFL.

5. Ask as many questions as you have here. There is answer for every question on this forum...;)

Good Luck!

Only if your husband is an adult..;) Just kidding.
Yes, all adults need police clearance from all the countries they resided for 6 months or more since reaching 18 years.
