I understand your frustration.

From what I have heard so far, it takes in average about 2 months for an application to reach IA stage after transfer to Detroit.

You can also look at this tracker and see if you find similar timelines.

Good Luck!

After Transferring the case it takes at least 90 -120 days to work on your case to them .It may vary depending on the load of work.

Believe it or not I received a letter requesting additional documents and medical assessment cards six months after my file was transferred to Detroit. The immigration process is definitely frustrating but no one is to be blamed considering the volume of applications the Canadian Immigration receives. I´m sure you will have to do some quick running in the next few months. Relax and save your energy. If you are too anxious, you can have someone in Canada request a CAIPS file for you.It costs CAD $5 and tells you in detail about your application status. In the mean while here is a list of additional docs. they requested me:

1. FBI clearance updated. Ask me how to get this quickly ;)( I had submitted one at the time of application)
2. Police clearances from all the countries I lived since attaining age 18 (Updated. This is also true for all dependents above 18 years.
3. Medical reports (You should wait for further info from them)
4. Reference letters from all the employers since the date of my application.
5. RPRF fees
6. Updated Bank Statement or proof of funds

I would recommend you start gathering these documents now so yuor life will be easy in the next few months...Trust me. I´ve been in these situations;)

Good luck!
