I have same timeline as you exactly
Did they ask for RCMP clearance? They did not for me
I ordered a CAIPS note this week to see if I can see anything else.

Being optimistic, I hope to have PP request 2-5 months.
Am I crazy?

Hi guys;
I got the same timeline as you:
Sent on January 2004
AOR Feb 2004
IA Sep 2004
Documents and medical sent Sep 2004
Waiting for PP
NO RCMP
I have been checking the e-client website everyday
but they have not confirmed the receive of medical.
I know that they refresh the website content on weekly basis.
Do you guys have any idea on which day of the week they do that?
I hope we all receive the PP soon.
Please keep in touch

Hi, Django:

Do they ask you to submit ROLF or one can send without CIC asking?

Curious since I just done medicals, but CIC does not ask me to submit ROLF in the IA.

thanks

I have a similar time as yours, but I have been asked to appear for an interview in NY. Do you also have an interview or did you get a waiver ? If there is an interview, will it make sense to do the medicals right away ? I believe the medicals are valid only for a certain time period, so if the interview call takes longer, the validity of medicals may expire.

Pl advice.

No interview for me. My recommendation would be to wait on your medical when you get your notice for your interview. In the generic letter I recvd saying "enclosed is your medical forms" it did say if you have an interview to wait until then to take the medical. The medicals do expire (not sure when), so you don´t want to jepordize those incase your interview is too far off.

Hi All,

MY timeline is similar to yours here. I applied in Feb 04 and got IA OCt 04 asking me to appear for interview in Detroit. I asked for NY but I guess I can live with detroit. I did order the CAIPS notes about 2 weeks ago to see what the deal was and see if I can get a waiver for the intervew. I am told the interview process can slow you down about a year. I would rather not wait that long if I can help it. Any of you have experience with interview waiver?

Also if your IA notes interview required then do not do your medicals until the consulate where your interview is scheduled sends you a letter stating your date and time of interview. Your medicals expire 1 year after you do them, no point doing it now and waiting in the interview queue for a year then having to do it again.

Thanks

No interview for me either; Yes If you are required an interview there is no point to do the medical.
What I heard is that if you are not required an interview and RCMP, you should probably get your PP in three to four month, from the date you have submitted your medical+other required doc. Please let me know if I am optimistic or this is correct

I submitted RCMP, FBI and India police clearance certificate along with the application. I also cleared IELTS and submitted along with the application.

Once medicals are done anyone can pay ROLF. It will reduce the waiting time. Because they will send a letter requesting you to send ROLF and you will be sending the same.

Passport request should comin before christmas holidays other wise many people will be on leave.

Well good luck all of you.
