I am an indian citizen applying for canadian immigration under federal skilled worker class. After my 18th birthday I have lived very briefly(3-4 months at a time)in 2 other countries besides US where I am right now. It is very hard to get the police clearance from these countries. Is there anyway around this or do I need to struggle for this.

(in reply to: Is police clearance required from every country.) Police certificates are required from Countries you lived in for MORE THAN 6 MONTHS since your 18th birthday.

(in reply to: Is police clearance required from every country.) At some time you may have to submit photocopies of your passport to CIC (or the entire passport for that matter - i.e. visa stamping). Make sure the visas in your passport support what you are claiming as far as staying less than 6 months in a given country. If your visas tell a different story than your statements, make sure you match the two :)
Good Luck!
