Hi..I have a question about medical exam. I know that they do blood and urine test. when they do that, do they drug test as well? any response would be very helpful thanks!!!

I didnt have to do drug test Im sure they wont ask you to do it unless you say you was drug user earlier.And who gonna say that?LOL

Yeah I guess so:) Just that when they take urine, it is not that difficult to do drug test so..thanks for reply!!

Dont worry about the urine drug tests, they are not reliable. When they get your blood then can run a blood test there which is much more reliable, but since it costs more to do so I assume it is not done. I hear the doctor may charge around $200-$500. I don´t see how for $200 or so they can do the blood drug test along with the few other tests they run.
If you´re not a drug user you got nothing to worry about then.

Please could somebody confirm that you are not asked to take a drug test as part of your medical examination when emigrating to Canada?
It only appears to be a blood test, urinalysis and a chest-xray for TB, but it does not state whether there is a drug test involved as well.

Hi, there!
I´m taking pills to lose weight (amphetamines) and it will show in the urine exam. Do you think I will be reproved in the medicals? Does the Immigration consider it an illegal drug (as weed, etc)?
