| Subject: Can I sponsor again? |

4 years ago, I sponsored a Hongkong lady to immigrate here to be my wife. But later on, she betrayed me, hanging out with other guys. So I lost my control, i beat her up. We´ve been divorced since then. Now i want to have a new marriage with a Vietnamese lady. When I ask for the police check, they send me a mail, saying that I would only be able to marry the women within Canada, not immigration sponsorship from aboard any more. Am I misunderstanding anything or it is true?
Please confirm this for me. If I still can marry and sponsor abroad marriage, what should I do now.

You know, sometimes people have situations and they are very vague about posting the details....They appear to be looking for support for their cause rather than getting a truthful and time saving answer. Though I have nothing to add, it is refreshing to see how you factually spelled it all out. The good, the bad and the ugly. By doing so, someone might be able to help you now.

JOHNNIE,
If you can´t sponsor your Vietnamese lady and your love for each other is true you can always immigrate to Vietnam, if your lady is willing to uproot her life for you, you can at least offer the same, i´m sure your wife to be will be very impressed with your show of love.
