This is also where we got stuck. We actually travelled to the High Commission in London and they "showed" us on the computer exactly how to get Part C off of the internet. What you need to do is select the word West Europe (avoid the word "order form")and you will magically be taken to the Part C area. It doesn´t look like the work West Europe does anything but when you hover over it, it does... I think that it is poorly designed on the web and how would a computer know if you are an inside applicant to select the bit to the right and if you are an outside applicant to select the bit to the left. Let me know if my explanation has worked for you or not....

This and That (in reply to: OPTION C PRINTOUT)
Now, that Option C, I didn´t get it because I have not lived in Canada for 20 years. Isn´t that something for Canadian residents? Something that you get through the Canadian tax office? Have you worked in Canada recently? Further along, in section 17, it says "If you do not provide this print out, provide an explanation on a separate sheet of paper". So what we did was explain that we don´t have Option C as we live in the UK. Now, we don´t have the visa yet but we have cleared the sponsorhsip phase. That is what we did.

Glad that that explanation about how to get to Part C helped. It is not clear and I can not believe that it is so poorly placed on the web page. We lost about 2 weeks just figuring that out.

About Appendix D, all we did was take that page from Part C and used that. The doctor had the rest. Are you a Canadian married to a Brit? I think I have got that right. Here is the risk that you take with getting your medical done first....From the minute you have the medical, the clock starts ticking and you must land in Canada within 1 year of the date of your medical. I´m sure you knew that. If you are sure that you have a straight up application and that everything will go well, I would get the medical and send it all together. If I were doing it all again, I would get the medical done and send it off in the original application. The guy at the embassy told us not to get the medical done until we were told to. But, everything went like clockwork. The website said that I would have my sponsorship approved in 42 days and it was. We should have done it before. It might save you a few weeks, if not a few months as it takes time to make the medical appointment and you have to go somewhere else for x-rays etc. But, if anything is delayed, you risk having to get the medical done again. Just know that that is the risk that you are taking.

To sum it up, I can only give you my personal experiences and what seems to have worked for me. Good luck with everything....We are just waiting to hear back from the High Commision in London. We have ordered our CAIPS and expect it in about 4 weeks.

I know that when you mail it all off that you can´t have any staples or anything. I used big bull dog clips to keep it all together and I went to Staples to get the right packet to send it in. Also, when you ship it to Mississaugua, Ontario, check about for a good courier and see how many days it will take to get from the UK to Ontario. We used a famous international courier and it took 10 days to arrive...I was told 3 days and it wasn´t 3 days. So, we lost a week there. Out packet spent 2 days at Gatwick, 2 days at Heathrow etc. So, check about for a courier that you can trust and when they say 3 days to North America, they mean it. We paid 30 pounds for our packet to take 10 days to get to Ontario...

Keep the questions coming.

Where were your grandparents born? (in reply to: OPTION C PRINTOUT)
Just asking....as I am here on a UK Ancestry Visa. I got it in 4 days after application. If you are
1) Canadian and
2) have any one of your 4 grandparents born in the UK

You can get this visa....Just thought that I would throw it out there...

Do you have dual nationality? (in reply to: OPTION C PRINTOUT)
So, do you have dual nationality then? I am Canadian and my partner is obviously British. We are in the Essex area and hope to go to British Columbia. You don´t have to answer if you don´t want to just wondering roughly where you are and where you are going back to...Just wondering. Not sure if you can get your partner´s visa before your visitor´s visa runs out.

opton C (in reply to: OPTION C PRINTOUT)
Could you please help me find the Option "C" form that I can download and send to my wife in the Philippines for her upcoming immigration to Canada. It is the form required for her approved Doctor to complete as part of her application. Thank You very much. Ralph.
