| Subject: Can I go to Canada by crossing the US border? |

Hi !
Could you guys help me with this? I have an american tourist visa and I would like to visit my friends in canada for few days..can I cross the US border to Canada without Canadian tourist visa? My friend said I can ask the border pass and the border...Can I really do that? and Do I have to prepare any documents?

You will need a tourist visa to enter Canada.

yeah deffinately u need visa to enter canada.I was in USa on work visa and I couldnt enter Canada just to go for skiing without visa.

from my experience this was possible, i just waited 1 day for them to grant me a week of visiting. I drove to buffalo NY to get it.
