I am landing to Canada next week and I have not done any prep. so far.. just booked my Air ticket ...
I will stay there for 3 days and then head back to US.
Expert, pl. write some of your advices I am supposed to take care.
1) Do I need to have any kind of Bank Draft?
2) What all papers - I am supposed to carry with me.
3) I have expired Visa on my passport however I have new approved I-797.
4) My I-94 is expired...

You may be ask to provide a proof of founds upon arrival in Canada.
2) What all papers - I am supposed to carry with me.
Your Passport and Confirmation of Permanent Resident, customs declaration if there are goods that are going to arrive in later day.
3) I have expired Visa on my passport however I have new approved I-797.
Sorry, I am not familiar with US Immigration law, Uniden might be able to help you on this one.

If you have a new H1 approved, it might contain an unexpired I-94. (See the bottom portion)
As far as I know, you can return back using Auto-revalidation.
(Verify if you belong to countries which has Auto-revalidation privilege)
Auto-Revalidation helps you to return back without stamping.
But remember to carry all your H1 papers with you so that you don´t face any issues at the port of entry)
