Subject: ADDITIONAL MEDICAL TESTS
I had my meds done and the attending DMR said everything was fine except some detrioration in one part of the lung due to age (I am 55). Now, the Medical Ctr was additional repeat x ray and lortdotic chest x ray plus assessment on prognois, treatment, and diagnosis for "abnormal chest x ray (as 4.0) with some left apical scarring.

Sharon, or others, what do you make of that? What are they concerned about when their DMR said there was no problem.

But now, I need to see a Pulmonary specialist.

I dont think you should be worried to much.I have heard that in 80% of applicants they find something on chest X ray and thats why they always ask for additional exams.I had to do lordotic chest X ray even when PA X ray was without no finding they found few tiny scars and they want to be sure that you or anyone else is free of TB.You should do what they ask for and be patient.
Regards!

Hi, Ron:

May I ask how long is it between the extra-medical request to the first medical test?

I did medicals in mid november, seems they found some calcified points on the lung. I am very worried and the doctor told me to expect additional medical exam request.

thanks

Thanks roy.

I did medicals in Mid-November. I am counting the days, if they do not ask me for additional medical test in three months, maybe I will be lucky one time.

I wish you the best!
