Subject: Study Permit Process from karachi (Pakistan)
We have several questions regarding the study permit process for Canada . We have read all the applicable guides/forms, searched the web sites (CIC main web site and the Islamabad site) and called the CIC call center in canada before writing to you.
We will list the questions in numerical order to be clear:

Could you let us know what documents are required to show proof of sufficient funds for applying for student permit from Islamabad Embassy, if the person bearing the expenses is the applicant´s brother in Canada. Do we need affidavit/notarized statement of support from brother, proof of relationship (what documents), bank statements/letter, letter from brother´s employer etc ?
If brother is bearing the expenses, do we still need the proof of employment for the applicant or the parents as stated in the list below (posted on the web-site). In this case, parents are not employed.
Is it O.K. to apply earlier for the permit (before 12 weeks from the start of school term) or does it strictly have to be within the 8-12 weeks window
Can you also confirm that the study permit application is the only application we need for studying in Canada, and we don´t need to apply for a separate temporary visa application.
For the educational documents, are notorized photocopies acceptable ? Are only the final transcripts/marksheets required or other documents (registration form etc) also needed? Please give us a complete list of required educational documents.
Do we mail this completed application packet to this address below or is there a different address for Study Permit application The Canadian High Commission
Immigration Section
P.O. Box 1042
Islamabad, Pakistan
Also is this a complete and accurate list of all documents required for the study permit (we got that from the web site:
Relevant application form
Fee (correct amount & format)
Family composition form
Confirmed original offer of acceptance from an educational institution in Canada.
Proof of sufficient funds for the first year tuition, living and other expenses.
Police certificates from all jurisdictions in which you have resided since the age of 18.
All previous educational documents.
Proof of employment for yourself or your parents. If you will be attending McGill, Concordia, or another university in Quebec you must provide a CAQ (certificat d´acceptation du Quebec) from the Government of Quebec.
I got canadian university offer letter in which I was offered admission as full time student to the Master of Business Administration (International students Program)
at Brock University. I accepted this offer with thanks.
I now request you to let me know that having accepted this offer, what future steps I have to follow ?

Thanks and regards
