Subject: How To Migrate As A Non Skilled Worker? Help |

Hello there everyone. I´m a 21 year old male from england and I have been trying to find ways to organize migration to Canada.
The idea for me is to work, live and maybe even study at the same time in Canada.
But due to all the applications and evaluations only involving being a skilled worker I have no idea how to do this. I am educated and have school/college qualifications but I have no professional trade. No one who i know of in England know what to do about it as the subject is as alien from one person to another here.
If anyone has ANY ideas or help here I would appreciate this so much and it might just change my life. I hate it here in England the whole country is falling against the scum which mostly rule the place and i want no part of it anymore.
Kind regards
Mike

(in reply to: How To Migrate As A Non Skilled Worker? Help) Hi Mike,
It´s quite simple. You have misinterpreted ´skilled worker´ to mean trademan when it basically means anyone with a career. Go to www.cic.gc.ca and see if you have 67 points by taking the emigration test. My feeling is that being 21, you won´t, but you can try. If you do, you can apply for PR - it´ll take around 48 months currently. If you don´t, you can come over on BUNAC, but you´ll have to leave after a year. Other than marrying a Canadian gal, you don´t have any other options. Strongly suggest you look elsewhere, sorry.
(I do understand the problem, as I am also British - but I got myself a Canadian man...)

(in reply to: How To Migrate As A Non Skilled Worker? Help) Oh yes, forgot - you could study, but you need to find out which university and program you want and see if you can afford international fees. Even if you do, though, you can´t necessarily apply for PR afterwards if I am not mistaken. Again, check out individual universities and see about the $$$...

how about PNP as an option (in reply to: How To Migrate As A Non Skilled Worker? Help) Just to through this out there....there is the Provinvial Nominee Programme (PNP). It is another way to get to Canada, it takes less time but you need to have a job offer to do it...A quick search on the internet and you will find out about it....Hope this give you something else to think about....
