Subject: IELTS
  Hi all,
I would like to share my IELTS test experience.
Today at 10:00 am the test started after 20 minutes of official preparation.
The good think was the place of the test. The location was one of the beautiful hotels in the old town full of Italians , in front of the building of the British Counsel.

The first part was the listening, I was little bit worried of this part after what I read about other persons experience. The test was quite easy and the sound was quite clear in spite of we listened to the CD once.
This part took 30 minutes; I took a lot of care to put the answers on the test booklet as soon as I feel I?m sure of the right answer to save time and to finish with no blanks because it?s difficult for me to remember after the pause.
I missed the second question because I just started to concentrate, soon I forced myself to do so and I think I did well.

The reading test started with no break.
I took the GT. It consisted of 3 passages with different levels of difficulty but it wasn?t that difficult for me.
I tried to be sure of my answers with the possibility of trying to guess the answers I?m not sure off.
They told us to write the answers on the answer sheet but it was possible to put notes inside the booklet. This part took one hour.
I think I did well too.

After 5 minutes break, the writing part started. They provided us with the answer sheets to write 2 tasks, the first was to write 150 words letter and the second was to write the 200 words essay.
Writing less was unrecomanded. I didn?t count my words although I wrote little bit longer but what I thought sufficient, also I think I did well.

The last one was the speaking part.
It was the most difficult for me as I expected that the examiner will test my language not my thoughts.
I thought he was looking at my lips when speaking waiting for what I?m going to say.
This part started after about 40 minutes.
Unfortunately my examiner was very old man speaking the typical English accent with very low voice that he was talking to himself but I avoided asking him to repeat any question.
He used a recorder to record our comprehension. This was the most confusing and I was surprised and never knew any similar experience before.
He asked many questions stared with my name and ID to my opinion about different concerns of life and society.
I?m little bit worried of this part that I used short sentences in order not to make grammatical mistakes.
Finally in this part I can?t evaluate my score.

Regards.
