Subject: Driving your car from U.S.
What legal formalities (if any) are needed to drive your car from the U.S. side into Canada. This is only for P.R. stamping and not permanently transporting the car to Canada. Finally I don´t intend to take my U.S. car to Canada. This is merely for a short trip to Canada + PR Stamping.

You can drive you car in Canada without any problems. There are rules and regulation only if you want to permanently import your car. see link for more info.
