hI all,
I am confused on the posted Processing Times in CIC site
I sponsored my parents. I submitted the application CPC Mississauga and according to the site it takes 26 months for the processing.
From the 26 months, I see a note 1 that says another processing time; it says that it also depends on what country we are from. Table shows that it takes like 5 years in Manila,Philippines Office.
Our Application is submitted in Canda.
Does this mean that we have to add the 26 months(in canada) plus manila processing which is 5 years. so we know the result after 7 years? Am i Correct?..
please helP! i just don´t get it
what´s the correct scenario?

If you applied from Canada usually the time taken for inland application applies to you. No need to add Manila

note 1 on cic site mentions that sponsorship applications have two step process so i would think that both steps would run in parallel and the processing times would be higher of the two since both would have to be completed.
