| Subject: How essential is the declared profession? |

I want to come and live in Canada under specialist category - or what ever. I´ve worked for 4 years as a programmer and now work as the IT-project manager - like a boss over the programmers team for 1 year.
Now I have 2 questions with this:
1. If I present myself to the Canada´s representatives as a programmer - then I can announce the 4 years experience. - But I would to work as the IT-project manager in Canada. If I present as the manager - then I have just 1 year - that is not as attractive as the programmer´s experience volume. - What is better for me to do?!
2. Relative to the first... How important is the declaration of my job experience regarding farther possible employment? - I mean - can I work as manager letter after having declared as programmer? Or the declared will be essential for my future employer?

It will depend on your employer. However you can show your experience as Manager in the beginning followed by your programming experience.
Depends on how you negotiate with your employer. Even you were not Manager, you can negotiate to become one!!

But what is the best solution for me here: I know that the more experience I have - the attractive my person is for the immigration process. I can work as programmer again - and thus have more experience or remain as the manager thus having less experience period. Sure, I can go under only one title, is it?
So, what is the best solution regarding this matter? - What is the best for the immigration process for me? Should I stay as manager or better to return to programming?
And yet another question, do they allow immigrate with family (my wife and children) as professional worker immigration, or they give way only to the workers? How then do the workers bring their families?
