How does having a US degree effect getting hired in Canada... being Indian citizen?

If you have a degree from a reputed university then there should not be much problems in it getting recognized by prospective employers. In case your degree is not from so reputed one I think still you will be on better ground as compared to people from other countries in similar situation.

Yes, your degree will be recognized and that´s all about it. Don´t expect that it would assure you a job. The most important thing in Canada is not who you are or what you can do, rather WHO DO YOU KNOW.
