Hello all,
My husband, me and my daughter were given a visitor?s visa after my 2 daughters in canada invited us since the processing of our immigrant status is 2 years away.
OUr visa(my husband and me) were given a visa until march 2009 and my daughter?s visa is just march 2008.
SHe is 21 years old and now a third year college student in a university. (she has been continuosly enrolled) We wanted to go back to canada next year for another visit.
her visa expires march 30 2008 and we wanted to go after university break (summer break) around march 15. since summer starts march here in the philippines. we plan to stay for 2 months (until june where classes begins again)
But her visa expires on the 30th day of march 2008. what do i need to do so that she can stay longer for her summer break.

(in reply to: Reply to Roy from Mommy :)) Nope
The duration of a multiple entry visa is not relavent to the entry period one is granted. The Visa allows one to board the plane during the duration of the visa. Entry into the country is decided at the port of entry aka the airport.
If the daughter leaves her country and arrives before the visa expires (March 30th 2007) she may be granted entry for one day or up to six months.
