Subject: interview waivers |

There is a rumour going around regarding applications at Buffalo that if you didn´t apply thru a lawyer, you will definitely not get an interview waiver. This doesn´t make any sense since CIC states on their website that no preference will be given if you apply through a lawyer.
Has anybody heard this as well? Anybody have any views?

doesn't make a difference, lawyer or not (in reply to: interview waivers) THat is true,
THere will be no preference whether you appply through the lawyer or not.
Simply applying through the lawyer does not give you anything special, except that lawyers make sure that everything is accurate and that you don´t miss any crucial information. Because if you do then your process might get delayed for quite a longer period.
