| Subject: LA transfer still waiting for IA |
I applied at Buffalo 1st week of FEB 2006 in skilled category, got AOR next week and now is transferred in MARCH 2007 to LA, still waiting for IA, anybody in same boat, how long will it take from here..desperate!! Thanks for input.

Anywhere from 2 weeks to 3/4 months or even more in some cases it depends on several factors.However, usual turnaround time is much less than 3/4 months.

My timeline: Dont catch me onthis...
Applied: March 05
File moved to Detroit Office: March 06
Medical exmas requested: August 06
Passport request: March 07
Immigration Visa stamped April 04 2007
During the time they sent me Medical request forms, I had to submit updated police clearance certificates including FBI clearance etc...
According to past experience your process will be completed by April 2007 or before as I understand CIC is trying to improve the wait period... but consider 800,000 SW applications being processed!!!

it takes 90 days to get IA after transfer
