(in reply to: Is it possible to apply from a country..) No, you can apply from another country if you have been legally admitted for atleast 1 year. This means if you are issued a 1 year UK work permit you can apply to CIC London the day after you land in UK.

Thanks (in reply to: Is it possible to apply from a country..) Dear Anonymous,
Many thanks... I had read that particular sentence in one of the websites I had been browsing through...but was not entirely clear on it. Thank you for your prompt reply... so, I guess that it means that I have to apply from Pakistan....
Best wishes

(in reply to: Is it possible to apply from a country..) its better wait for a year and apply from UK because if U apply from pakistan then its going to take longer time like 6-7years i guess and from UK is much faster

Thanks (in reply to: Is it possible to apply from a country..) Hi Janu,
Thanks for your suggestion...unfortunately, I will be in the UK only for the summer break and will be back in Pakistan by september...so, I guess that I would have to pursue this through the long route...
