Hi Roy
Over the last few months your contribution has been impressionable and definitely made my work alot easier.
I am a resident of Ontario but just staying in Montreal for my studies.
Appl received: March 28 2007
Appl processing at CPC-M: April 23 2007
My letter is in the mail but I managed to check the status of it online using my PAYMENT RECEIPT Number and found the following response;
"We received your application to sponsor (HUSBANDS NAME) on March 28, 2007.
We started processing your application on April 23, 2007.
We sent you a letter on April 23, 2007 about the decision on your application.
We forwarded your application to the Minist?re de l´Immigration et des Communaut?s culturelles (MICC) on April 23, 2007."
Even though the letter will be with me on Monday I cant help knowing what the above statement means. There is the weekend in between and it would be great if you could give me an idea of what it means.
I hope they havent got the idea of me sponsoring from Quebec because we have clearly indicated the place of residence as TORONTO once the immigration is granted and I have also explained that I am in Quebec for my education only.
I will really appreciate it if you could explain what I read online on my account. The weekend wont be easy without finding out what´s goin on!

I´M NOT ALLOWED TO STATE THAT SOME VERY LOW LEVEL CIC EMPLOYEE WOULD EVER MAKE A MISTAKE.....BUT

Hey Roy
I received a letter in the mail from them. I have a file number and long enough letter from CPC-M that I have qualified to sponsor my husband from India.
They have also mentioned that a copy of my file is sent to Minist?re de l?Immigration et des Communaut?s culturelles (MICC) to check if I qualify under the Provincial as well.
Furthmore it states that a copy of my file is sent to India too.
I am getting a feeling that a mistake is made but I thought I should see what you have to say about this new development in my case.
I am going to call them first thing tomm.
