Subject: about IELTS validity?
hey,
i am submiting my SW application in london next month. my question is that i already had taken IELTS last month, suppose if after two year CHC request my IELTS score, will my this test be valid at that time?

They usually ask only once. If they do ask you after two years, this one becomes invalid. You must retake the test.

That is why Immigration Canada started the simplified process of application. One can apply now and then upon requests from the cic, applicant can later take IELTS, etc etc.

IELTS test taken within one year of the date of application under SAP is valid. You may also try this, submit written proof of language proficiency when requested for the documents. Later on, if requested you can take the IELTS.

Hi,
I applied in October 2006, SAP.

They asked for IELTS in pre assessment.

I did the test after 6 months of my application and sent it to them.

Thy asked for updates (all my documents) in addition to the IELTS.

Should I take the test again or resend it ???
