My American boyfriend and I are getting married in 2008. We currently live 1.5 hours from eachother and we´ve been alternating going across the border every weekend for the past 9 years. Finally we are getting married. We are however, undecided on where to live. So our plan is to get married in Canada, for him to get his TRP and work permit so that he can move to Canada and work for 1 year. If he likes it, then we´ll apply for PR. If not, I may be moving to the US. We are travellers so who knows we may work and travel for awhile. My question is, after we are married, will the customs question us for being married and him having a TRP and Work Permit? Would they accept this truth? Should we state that our intention is to get him a Canadian PR eventually? (We are just undecided at this point in time)...
