| Subject: In-canada PR for parents |

Are parents who are in canada on visitor visas eligible for in-canada
applications for their PR? Or is it something else?
Also, this class has a processing time of about 2 years , so
can they come in and out on visitor visa till they get their PR in canada.
How does this work? can someone shed some light on this please?

there is no mechanism for ´in-canada´ parental sponsorship. Their ability to come and go on a visitors visa will depend on CIC being convinced that they will return home at the end of the visit... or if they are denied residency.

Anyone other then a PR or Canadian Citizen can apply for PR status based on H&C factors. You have to show an Unusual and undeserved Hardship not anticipated by act and the regulations. You have to start with writing about how the act was created etc. etc.

The current CIC policy violates the following sections of Immigration and Refugee Protection Act:
to see that families are reunited in Canada - Section 3 (1.d).
successful integration and mutual obligations - Section 3 (1.e).
consistent standards and prompt processing - Section 3 (1.f).
accountability and transparency - Section 3 (3.b).
Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, including principles of equality and freedom from discrimination - Section 3 (3.d).
Then go and read the Inland Processing Manual IP5 and be sure to write about IP5 section 5.1, 5.26, 6.7, 6.8 in your submissions. I also suggest you go to a Doctor and get the Doctor to write about how devasteated you would be if your parents are seperated from you.
