Subject: getting married while being out of country
does anyone know if canadian nationals who live and marry out of canada, can bring their spouse to canada and then apply for the PR while in Canada? would entry as a tourist visa (europeans dont need a visa) while being married would cause a problem? let me know if you have any forums or news groups that address this issue

Apply outside of Canada and all you have to do is return on or before your partner.

Processing times are way faster.

If you apply inside Canada your partner may say something like I´m coming to live with my Partner and then since she is not seeking entry for a temporary period of time she is put right back on the plane he/she arrived on.

Do it the way they want you to do it get approved in an average of six months so your partner can work from the day they arrive.

In theory yes but they will probably tell her to go back and apply abroad. Apply now and come as a PR why have her wait two years to get landed or 9 months to be able to legally work in Canada.
