Roy,
Could you let me know how important is it to show the proof of funds given the fact that I have a fulltime, wel paid job in Canada. I am in Canada on a work permit and just received an interview waiver from the consulate. Can I just attach my pay stubs from work to prove that I have enough money to live on?
Thanks.

(in reply to: To Roy) Settlement funds are designed with the Low Income Cut Off in mind for your particular area. If you show a letter from your employer stating that he/she will be happy to continue you as one of their team as well a few pay stubs relax.
See here http://www.cic.gc.ca/manuals-guides/english/op/op06e.pdf for section 9.2 & 10.14 If your working with HRSDC approval your fine.
I am assuming that this should clearly answer your question. Sorry for taking too long to respond got busy yesterday.

(in reply to: To Roy) Thanks alot that reply helps. Yes I am working with HRSDC Approval and have 3 more years till my work permit and HRSDC Approval expires. Regarding getting a letter, it shouldnt be a problem at all. Thanks for your help.
