I am on a work permit and will be leaving Canada for another job. My last day of employment will be 15 September. I am planning to take a trip to the US and return back to Canada and then finally leave Canada on 12 October. I have the following questions.
1. Is my work permit required to be cancelled? If so then at what stage.
2. Will I have any issues with regards to be my travel to the US if my work permit is required to be cancelled (I already have a US Visit Visa)?
Thanks

WIfe runs with kids applies PR (in reply to: On work permit and leaving canada) I lived with wife and 2 kids while studying in Toronto for 6 yrs. Come time to return home in Africa, she kidnaps kids & disappears until I returned to home country. I understand she has applied for PR. I want my kids returned to our home country. How can I petition Immigration Dept, so that her application is denied, so that she´s deported. Do they attend to such cases? what are my chances of success?
