| Subject: How to speed the permanent residence procedure |

Hi everybody
I am on work permit in Canada since the beginning of 2006.
I applied for permanent residence in Buffalo at the end of past year and I got the file number. I have been ready for long waiting.
However, I have a chance to get a permanent job very soon and I am wondering to what extent a permanent job offer can fasten the permanent residence procedure. Because potential employer is not ready to wait for a long period of time, I am considering also the possibility of a new work permit. Current work permit is still valid, but my actual employer will be ready to discontinue temporary job contract earlier because they cannot offer me permanent job.
If somebody has experience with these things, please answer me. I would very appreciate a response. I heard that immigration lawyers can speed permanent residence procudere if one has a permanent job offer. Otherwise, I am in Ontario.
