Hi,
I am Permanent Resident in Canada (Since Nov 2006). I want to invite my parents to Canada on Visitor Visa. Can you please elt me know what all documents it would require to get them the visitor visa. Do I need to send an invitation letter, along with my pay-stubs, bank statement ?
Also, do they require to show any finances (property or cash or bank statements ?..Please suggest. My parents are in india.

cic has some great tips on letters of invitation etc. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/letter.html
the biggest issue is showing very clearly that your parents have no intention of staying permanently. There must be plently of reasons for them to return home.

I have a similar situation. I recently immigrated to Canada, but I don´t have yet a job. I would like to invite my parents for several months and I am able to sponsor them. However, I am not sure if I am eligible to grant visa for them because I do not have employment.
