I´d like to ask for the wisdom of this group. I´m a Canadian
tizen working as a network engineer in Ottawa. After much
thought, my brother who is a citizen of Lebanon, finally dropped
the towel and want to immigrate and work in Canada. I took a
look at the immigration form/procedure and have two questions
for you. I´m hoping you can help me out here.First, my brother have a Bachelor degree in Business administration from a well reputable university in Lebanon and speak and write both english and french.
I sent his resume to a major food franchise in Ottawa and they´ve offered him a job as a store manager. Will he be able to claim
points under Factor 5 as a result of this employment offer? Is that considered a Human Resources Skills Development recognizable job. If so, is there a form the offer should follow.
Second, is it better to use a federal or provincial nominee´s application in his case. Hope the answers to this would help others as well who may be in the same situation described herein.
thanks a million,
Peter.

HRSD question around immigration purposes. (in reply to: HRSD question around immigration purposes.) thanks for the response.
did you get the letter approved by hrsdc yourself ? I was under the impression that hrsdc approval had to be done by the employer making the offer not the job seeker. can you clarify. I haven´t send the application yet.
cheers.
Peter
