| Subject: Do spouses need to pass the points system as well? |

Ok so Ive got enough points to pass the process, but if my common-law partner wishes to accompany me to Canada does she need enough points to pass as well or does she just accompany me on my points??? Cant seem to find the answer anywhere and the Canadian consulate in London stated they didnt have the resources to answer specific questions!

Your spouse/common law partner does not need to independently qualify he/she gets to come along on your points, as you put it.
I should qualify this statement -- your spouse must still pass the criminal background, security and medical clearances.
