Hi ,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to obtain a visit visa and be able to hunt for a job ,while your case is pending for PR?
Well i have an LPN license to practice in BC but cant find in a job or an interested employer.

As far as I know, you can always visit Canada while your PR is processing. My understanding is that you must make it clear in your visa application that you will leave Canada before your visa expires.
Since you have a PR pending it is called "dual intent" and the immigration authorities must be convinced that you will not stay after your visa expires until you are granted PR.
In other words yes it is possible to obtain a visitor visa.

Well as a visitor you are not allowed to EARN money I mean to WORK but else you can do job hunting.
I myself went to Canada for a job interview as a visitor. The immigration officer asked me why I am in Canada and I said "I have a job interview" ....it´s fine.
You don´t need to say that you will be job hunting as long as you don´t take up employment without work permit you are FINE!

You are allowed to attend a job interview while you are visiting Canada, as a visitor you cannot work or earn any money but you can look for a job, find an employer and the whole 9 yards except start working without the proper permit.
However, be carefull what you tell to the officer at the POE.
The word "Job hunting" could be interpreted as if you find it you will take it!.
And that puts you in a situation where the tricky questions begin.
And those could lead into a refusal of entry.
Visit the country as a turist and while you are there, then look for a job. Go back home and do your homework to come back in the future with a work permit.

but ist it possible that when u interviewed for job in canada on visit visa and u are informed with in few weeks that u r selected, while u r in canada on visit visa.then u apply for work permit and u get it.this all happens during ur visit?
