Subject: Looking for a job offer
  Hi,
I´m writing from Shiraz, Iran. I´m 27 years old and I´m a computer software engineer. I have recieved my Skilled Worker Class file number in Jan. this year, and planning to get a job offer confirmed by HRSDC to speed up my immigration process or to find a job in Canada while my immigration process is in progress. Is it possible? How can I achieve this?

Thank you and regards,
M. R. Nassabeh

This is close to IMPOSSIBLE, to be honest with you unless YOU ARE VERY VERY LUCKY....anyways you can try submitting your resume to employers using avrious websites such as
www.workopolis.com
Job is trouble to find for people who are already in Canada and then getting a job offer who will do all the hassle for you to get approval from HRSDC......My friend it is IMPOSSIBLE......do not keep any hopes....but you can still try as there is no harm in trying...good luck!

The best bet you have is probably to try getting offer from a consulting firm. Search www.monster.ca for something like Java/J2EE consultant/developer position and see if you find a consulting firm that is willing to send you an offer. If you are Sun certified, you might get an offer.

But if you are looking for a permanent full-time position, then it is very very hard to get from Iran.

there are some areas of software engineering that do not require HRDC approval. CIC has a full listing on their website. It is a matter of hooking up with the right employer who will offer you a job.

You may want to contact our friend Roy at his website. He is doing this type of work for a living - that means you will need to pay for his services, but you will get the appropriate advice and assistance.

The occupations in your field are listed here as well. www.canvisaplacement.com

Most employers will gladly hire anyone in these seven occupations with an on line interview. We have been successful and I know others have been too.

Ontario now has a PNP Provincial Nominee Program that will get you landed with your work permit.

Thank you all for your advice. I know that it seems impossible but I´m doing my best. I´m now planning to obtain the Microsoft MCSD certification in the following 2-3 monthes which I think can help me get an offer.

Well, as napoleon says "Only the impossible is impossible",
I´m now getting my MCSD certificate and at the same time investigating the Canadian IT job market and networking with some friends and recruiting companies in Canada to find an employer which will support my PR by providing a job offer. The rest of the way including getting an AEO from HRSDC can be done by an immigration officer as the employer´s representative.

my email is r_nassabeh@yahoo.com and I´ll be glad to discuss the case with anyone who may provide advice or solutions.
