| Subject: work permit while restoring status |

Hi,
I have been approved for a job offer by HRSDC but i have to restore my status due to an incomplete extension of stay i applied for back in March, i forgot to send a copy of my passport.
I have sent them an application packge to get this restoratin of status but i want to know if it will affect my application for work permit even though the reason of that non process seems to be minor. I have a canadian child and i have sent everything on time.

What status did you have that was not extended in time?
Did you pay the $200.00 application fee to restore status?
Why would you be entitled to apply from within Canada for a work permit?

I have extended my visitor status in time but forgot the copy of my passport to include, therefore my extension has been processed, i paid the $200 already, but at the same time i have been approved by HRSDC so i need to go to the border for a work permit, my question is do you think it will affect my application ?
