That is a good question.

It says that you have to submit the police clearance that has a validity of 3 months but on the Buffalo website it says 6 months, I guess it depends on the office you submit your papers.

From what I learnt in this forum is that sometimes after the IA (initial assesment) they ask the FBI police certificate again the year after! So overall it seems that it depends on the immigration officer (and/or your country of origin). I also suspect that not everyone is equal in that but who knows ?

Hope it helps.

I don´t think there is a specific answer to that question. I never submitted the FBI clearence until they asked me to send them along with the medicals.

If you send FBI clearance with your application, they are likey to ask you for an updated one later. However, if you do not submit with the application, you will be asked to submit one with the medicals and hopefully before this one expires, a decision will be made on your application.

Agree with Almost Perfect!!

Still one question, in the checklist from Buffalo office the police clearance certificate is listed there, that is why i have submitted mine with my application, so WHY IS IT THERE if they ask you again later ??????

How likely are they to ask again ?
