| Subject: On Tourist visa to US ! |
Is it possible to apply for Canadian Immigration while am on a visit to US? My home country wait time is backed up and am wondering if this is an option at all.
Would appreciate any advise in this regard.

I think the rule states that the applicant be the resident of the country he/she is applying from for at least a year.

I know of these conditions to apply from country other than your country of birth.
1. Legally admitted for a period of 1 year. You need not have resided but admitted.
2.You are currently residing in the country when you make the application.
Tourist visa is usually for 6 months..so I do not think you can apply.
