I have doctor´s appointment for this Tuesday for our (me and my husband´s) medical exam for immigration visa. I have following 2 questions
1. How long does it take after medical exam.?
2. Can I travel to another country (India, Singapore)? Hope I dont have to take medical again?

1. No fixed time. If your background and security checks are finished then in no time else it will take sometime. Usually a wait of few weeks to few months.
2. As long as you can keep a mailing address where you can receive communication from CIC you are free to go anywhere. Otherwise, you are still free to go but you would not want to lose mails (j/k). You won´t have to take medicals again if you are able to land within 12 months from the date of medicals.

1. You must land within 12 months of Medicals - Maximum. Minimum, 4 months; Average 6 months.
2. You may even travel to Mars...no Problems as long as you dont spend more than 6 months there...or else you will be asked to provide a Police clearance certificate from Mars which I am sure is a little hard to get unless you really have good contacts with Martians...LOL!!
