Hi
am on H1B and will be landing permanently as PR in Canada. Do I have to do anything else except informing my client and employer of the last date or my work?
What happens to my H1b, not that I need it now, but just want to find out if I need to inform USCIS or something.
Thanks

(in reply to: landing permanently as PR on H1B) hi
is your H1 b visa up for 6 yrs if yes then no need to do anything just exit US before the expiration date on I-94.
if your H-1 is still valid then just give 2weeks or 1 mths notice according to what the employmer requires.let me know if you have any questions.

(in reply to: landing permanently as PR on H1B) I am still with in my 6 years of H1B. I would be giving a 2 weeks notice. I wanted to know is anything else required from my side to do?
