Subject: Traveling after receiving a first stage approval
Hello, I just received a first stage approval for PR. If I leave Canada for a vacation (let´s say the States), will they let me in? Do I have have to wait to become a PR before leaving the country?
Thank you!

You should wait until the process is over.

Under the criteria that you are a visitor, if you go to the US or any other country, once you try to re enter Canada your intentions aren´t to stay on temporary basis, actually you are going to stay and since you are not a PR yet, there is no guarantee that you are going to admitted into the country.

If you are refused of entry, it WILL cause a problem in your application.

Not worth it.

JASON CIC INFORM YOU RIGHT ON YOUR LETTER THAT STAGE ONE APPPROVAL DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL BE LET BACK IN IF YOU LEAVE.
