Subject: Informing CIC of pregnancy
I submitted simplified applicatin and have not yet undergone IA. Moscow CIC website urges to inform the embassy of spouse´s pregnancy ASAP. However, it doesn´t mention whether it has to be done before IA or after. Any idea?
Thanks in advance,
Marat

You must notify CIC of any changes in your routine as soon as you know... Pregnancy, change of job, change of spouse, change of address, and any other such major changes irrespective of the stage of your application.

Pregnancy is an issue only because certain medical procedures can not be completed. Until the child is born there is no need to inform unless a medical can not be completed. If you were in Canada and applying as a Spouse in Canada or H&C then it is a serious requirement.
