Subject: please help me
I have a problem and I need help. I´m an international students and I got married 2 years already. My husband sponsor me to stay in Canada and we applied for almost 2 years but I haven´t got permanent resident yet. First we send our file since april 2005, eight monts later they reqiure us to give more information like did we go for honey moon or not and something like that. After a month or more they sent us a letter a said they tranfered our file to local office at Etobicoke already in April 2006. And until now it´s more than a year but I haven´t got anything from them meanwhile all of my friends they got their paper already. My husband call them but they just say all we can do is just wait.
What should we do now? some people say if the file transfers to local office that mean they accept us but some people say we got a problem so they transfered our file to local office so which one is right?
Should we call them more often or send more picture about our daily life for them? Please help me because I graduated from college a year already but I couldn´t go to work because I don´t have a permit to working. I´m just an International student. I´m really tired of waiting ang waiting

Dear Laura Do

The issue of a marriage being approved or not depends on the submissions not a marriage certificate.

Etobicoke is a busy office but your wait is excessive.

What does not prove a marriage.

Pictures of the actual wedding especially each oither feeding some cake to the other.
A marriage license not certified by the province of Ontario.
Lack of relationship photos.
Lack of supporting letters (with status documents) attesting to the fact that these people know your relationship to be genuine

From your posting it is clear to me that certain details where left out of your submission.

You need to get a lot more evidence to prove that the two of you cohabitate together, are comfortable together, share a common bond etc.

So what can I do now? should we sand them more picture aboout aout daily life? have you ever known any cases else like us? Is it mean that we will get trouble later like they reject us or something like that?
Please give me addvices.I´m really tired and disapointed because now I just stay at home.Sometime my husband and me argue about this.
