Subject: Pregnant and no health card
  I´m a canadian permenant resident card holder but i stay in UAE.I have plans to migrate to canada-toronto in october, but at the moment I´m pregnant and my due date is 20 Feb 2008.I will apply for the health card as soon as i land in toronto and according to the rule i might get it in january but what i want to know is wat will be the charges for the 3 months waiting period and if I buy a private insurance card will they cover pregnancy for it?And one more think the health card will be given in 3 months for sure right i hope they dont delay the process.

Please reply i´m very worried..

Buy private health insurance NOW (in reply to: Pregnant and no health card)
Get private health insurance coverage soon, to be covered when you get to Canada. The 3 month wating period is to allow the Province to check you out and make sure that you are in Canada, legally. Apply in Toronto, after you arrive.
