I am a permanent resident.
I would like to sponsor my sister to come to Canada.
Is it possible for her to get a student visa, then when she is here, she can apply for permanent residency while I sponsor her.
Or must she finish her studies first, then only can she apply for permanent residency with me sponsoring her?

unless your sister is an orphan under the age of 21, sponsorship is not available to you.
She can attempt a student visa and later apply on her own merits but the student visa will not be issued if there is any thought that she will not return home.

Hi I am a permanent resident of Canada, I am alone here with no relatives even cousin. in a other word I am a single with no one relative here in Canada. Can I sponsor my adulth sister age 44 with her dependent daughter 9 years of age? According to my salary based on cra assessment is 43k a year. tnx
