Subject: 2 questions about skilled migration class
  Hi:
I am a turkish citizen currently living in NY, USA. I will have completed my masters here in June and with that, i will (i hope) have required 67 points to be eligible. I have 2 q´s:
1-Do i really have to go to Turkey to apply? Does Canadian government accept exceptions or would force me to go to Turkey? I will be sent to northern Iraq by my military and be forced to kill some Kurds, which I am really not into.
2- When we prove past employement, experience etc... do we have to show all tax papers or a letter from company is enough? Nobody ever paid tax for me in turkey, but i worked full time.do you think i need a lawyer?
any helpful answers will be appriciated.
have a nice christmass.

Typo (in reply to: 2 questions about skilled migration class)
Come on people,
This is a typo, and really irrelevant in this forum. This is not English course. We all do typo mistakes.

Hey Mamut:
Do you really intend to immigrate to Canada as a skilled worker?? Take an ESL course first. They´ll help you with your spelling.

Hey mahmut

You can apply directly at buffalo or NY post. Regarding your work experience you just need reference letters mentioning your salary designation held and job responsibilities no tax papers required.

But i will advise you to take IELTS english test it will help you in getting some points.

Ignore the people who talk about your english. Thats the best way.

Hey Medicine Man. You would need to take exams to get license to practice medicine in Canada. You can also do very similar exams (ECFMG) and get into US. I invite you to the US instead of Canada. If you have lots of energy and well versed in surgery, you will make more moeny and faster in the US than in Canada. Rethink your goals; aim high, and you might get rich and live better. I am doc and kind of burned out in the US and hence aiming to Canada as a place to work less and live more. Canada is a nice place to work at relaxed pace and enjoy life.... But much less money!
