we just did our medicals me with the kids in France and my husband in the states.
Now how long do we have to wait before passeport request?
but most importantly how do we proceed ?I mean do we have to mail our passport to CIC in Buffalo from France or do we go through Canadian ambassy here in Paris ?
I am sure we are not the only separated family going through this, please share your experiences . Thank you

Just send an e-mail to your CIC office if you want to. The medicals will be sent by your doctor. If no more documents are required, then you will get PPR in about 4 to 5 months.
Check with your husband when he sent his FBI clearance. If it was more than a year ago, they might ask for updated FBI clearance (In some cases). If you lived in the states for more than 6 months, consider getting an updated FBI clearance for yourself too.
Considering nothing goes against you, you will land before this time next year.

i wish it would be sooner than next year but we ll see...
Do you know how they proceed with our passeports? you know one part of the family being in france and the other in the us ....

They will ask all your passports at the center where your applications are processed regardless of where each applicant is residing. So, I am assuming you should all send your passports to Buffalo when asked.
