I got interview date for feb 2005...I am planning to got to home country after the interview and come back after a month....
cud any one tell me... how long after the interview they ask to submit my passport for stamping?

It takes them a on an average 3-9 months to request passport after the interview. This figure is my own guess based on experience. There is no data available on the CIC website regarding this.
Suggestions:
1) Get CAIPS notes to see why you have been called for interview i.e. if you have not already got them.
1) If you want to reduce the time for passport request please get medical done as soon as possible
2) Take the RPRF with you during the interview.

when you got initial assessment & call for interview?
When was your file transfered?
When did you get call for interview?
