Subject: Architecture and building

I´m interested in migrating to Canada, from South Africa. I am self employed and do archtectural 3d vizualisations.
Now, what I´d like to know is; "How active is the building/architecture industry outside of the major cities of Canada?"

I´m refering to areas such as towns in Ontario and New Brunswick.
If anyone has some experience or info on this, I´d really appreciate it.
